Introduction to 3D scanning

A session that allows participants to get a comprehensive overview of how 3D scanning works; this is a powerful and great alternative to 3D modelling.

Participants will obtain an up to date briefing of the different types of scanners and software available for use, both free and commercial.

This will be followed by a demonstration of how to scan both people and objects and you will be able to create your own 3D reproduction.

Please bring your own storage device (USB, sd card or portable hard-drive) to save your work.
